Details

The harissa "Le Phare du Cap Bon" is said to be made to Grand-Mother Oum Elkhir's original recipe. As is the local custom, harissa is prepared anuually using locally grown ingredients and much is still done by hand. Once harvested the red chili peppers are reduced to a puree and garlic and spices added.

Ingredients

Red Chilli Peppers, Spices (Coriander, Caraway), Garlic, Salt.

Instructions For Use

The harissa is used for the preparation of various dishes cooks, to season the broth, the hot or cold sauces by diluting a small quantity. After opening : refrigerate at 39-43°F (4 - 6°C) and consume within 30 days of opening.

Storage Instructions

Store at room temperature.
