Originally named "Berner Würstchen mit Chili, Käse & Bacon" It is a cheese and sausage creation from the Alpine republic. The Bautzner Wurstfabrik, with more than 110 years of experience in the production of fine sausages and exquisite meat specialties, give birth to the Wiener sausages filled with Emmentale cheese, refined with spicy ground red chili peppers, and wrapped it by hand in the bacon.

Ingredients

Sausages with cheese (80%): 68% pork, 11% cheese (contains lactose), drinking water, nitrite curing salt (table salt, preservative (E250)), stabilizer (E460, E450) , emulsifier (E472c), dextrose, seasoning, spices, acidulant (E330), antioxidant (E300), spice extract, flavor enhancer (E635), thickener (E412), edible sheath, smoke.
Bacon (20%): Pork, salt, potato starch, maltodextrin, dextrose, spice extracts, antioxidants (E301), preservatives (E250), smoked.

Instructions For Use

Preparation: With a little oil in a non-stick pan, slowly sizzle the cheese sausages over medium heat until crispy. (Not too hot, otherwise the ham rolls will come off)

Serving: Berner are traditionally served with fried potatoes or French fries. With mustard, ketchup or a spicy BBQ sauce and a fresh seasonal salad rounds off the dish perfectly.
