TASTING NOTES Cap d’Or has a deep “present” taste and it expresses the beauty of its exceptional terroir – the hill of Saint George. Its tannin level is quite high and it shows potentials for great aging. DESCRIPTION Cap D’Or is the new “baby” of a new big project: they took over a property in Saint Georges Saint Emilion in 2014 and they are building a very nice long-term vision for this AOC. Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion is actually the smallest and the scarcest red wine AOC in Bordeaux and they are only 20 producers working on it. The total of hectares of the whole AOC is 190 and at the moment they own 65 (with two properties). 80% of the wines is sold directly to consumer and it has the reputation of being the most qualitative satellite of Saint Emilion.

Drink directly, not for pregnant women and children

Storage Instructions

Wine should be stored away from sunlight and fluorescent lights. The capscrew bottles can be placed vertically, while the cork bottles should be placed horizontally. Ideal storage temperature from 14-16 degrees, avoid storing wine in hot places above 24 degrees and avoid vibrations.
