TASTING NOTES The nose expresses all the richness of the colour. Intense, deep bouquet. A harmonious blend of black fruit, liquorice, crystallized violets, cigar box, and vanilla. It promises a wine that is rich, ripe and yet also fresh. On the palate, one is struck by the remarkable balance between sweetness, freshness and power. The attack is smooth and voluptuous. The tight texture of fine, silky tannins then develops volume, giving the wine a noble character, finishing with an incredibly long aromatic and mineral freshness DESCRIPTION THE BLEND 90% Cabernet sauvignon 10% Merlot MATURING Le Château Durfort-Vivens 2015 was aged in oak barrels for 18 months with 60% new barrels.

Storage Instructions

Wine should be stored away from sunlight and fluorescent lights. The capscrew bottles can be placed vertically, while the cork bottles should be placed horizontally. Ideal storage temperature from 14-16 degrees, avoid storing wine in hot places above 24 degrees and avoid vibrations.
