The brand was started by Jean Panzani in Parthenay in 1950.In the 1950s, he sold pasta in cellophane whereas other companies used cardboard.From 1960 to 1964, it merged with La Lune and Régia Scaramelli.It was in the 1960s that it became the market leader in pasta wholesalers in France.In 1964, Roland Barthes analysed a commercial by Panzani in his essay entitled ‘The Rhetoric of the Image’, suggesting Panzani was trying to come across as Italian.

Ingredients

Water, ravioli (hard wheat semolina, water, beef, bread crumbs (wheat flour, salt, yeast), carrots, salt, onion), tomato concentrate 6%, beef, carrots, modified corn starch, rapeseed oil, salt, onion, sugar, aroma. Traces of EGG white Beef used: 7.5% of the total net weight. Allergens: Cereals with gluten (wheat), traces of egg.

Instructions For Use

Saucepan: 8 min over low heat- Microwave: 3 min at maximum power
In a traditional oven: place the Ravioli in a suitable dish, add grated Emmental and leave to brown for 12 min, thermostat 7.
