TASTING NOTES Brokenwood Cricket Pitch Red is medium to full bodied in colour and density with aromas of red cherry, spice and earthy edges. DESCRIPTION Mostly vinomatic fermenters used, after 2-3 day cold soak prior to ferment. This wine is matured in French oak up to 18 months with a small percentage being in new oak barrels. INFORMATION DETAILS Variety Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot ABV: 13.5% Food Pairing Pairs well with rich seafood, pasta and light meat dishes. Drink A drink now style that will further soften with medium term bottle maturation.

Storage Instructions

Wine should be stored away from sunlight and fluorescent lights. The capscrew bottles can be placed vertically, while the cork bottles should be placed horizontally. Ideal storage temperature from 14-16 degrees, avoid storing wine in hot places above 24 degrees and avoid vibrations.
