Before processing:
Before you cook it, what you need to keep in mind is the seasoning of the pan. This is a bit fussy, but you have to do it every few months. To cook with a cast iron pan, you should warm up the pan on the stove before adding oil or other ingredients.
- Rinse the pan with water. After cleaning the pan, dry it thoroughly.
- Apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the entire inside, outside, and handles of the pan. Do not use too much oil or the pan will get sticky after tempering.
- Put the pan on the stove, turn on the stove until it's hot, add 1 cup of cooking oil. When you see white smoke of cooking oil, turn off the heat. Let it cool.
- Use a soft cloth to massage the oil evenly over the inside, outside and handles of the pan.
- Rinse again with hot water, dry (or dry the pan).
