Get 27 is a French brand has been around since 1796. This classic mint-flavoured liqueur started out at 27% alcohol per volume, thus the number 27 in its name.
Since then, the alcohol percentage has lowered slightly to 21%, but the name has remained the same. The Get in the name comes from the creators of the liqueur, Jean and Pierre Get, pronounced "Jet."
The bright green bottle is just a hint as to the marvellous minty liqueur contained within. There is a legend that says that a lamp inspired the Get brothers when choosing the shape of their bottle. No matter what the inspiration was, this vibrant green bottle has a silhouette that is instantly recognizable.
