PROUDLY CELEBRATING ANNAM CENTRAL KITCHEN – MONTCLAIR, A PIONEER IN ACHIEVING ISO 14068 CARBON NEUTRALITY CERTIFICATION IN 2026

 

Montclair has officially achieved Carbon Neutrality certification under the international standard ISO 14068-1:2023, awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI). This makes it one of the pioneering food businesses in Vietnam to reach this important milestone.

 

What makes this achievement truly meaningful is that it didn’t begin with a single large-scale project or a short-term campaign. Instead, it is the result of many years of small yet consistent actions: reducing single-use plastic bags at Annam Gourmet, encouraging eco-friendly materials, investing in solar energy systems, optimizing energy use, and continuously improving operations with sustainability in mind.

 

To reach this milestone, the team worked collaboratively to review data, assess emissions, improve processes, and build a management system aligned with international standards.

 

Yet the true value lies beyond the certification itself. It is reflected in the shift in mindset and daily habits of each individual: being more mindful of energy use, more responsible with resources, and recognizing that small everyday actions can create a lasting positive impact on the future.
