The Berthaut cheese dairy is located in the same village of Epoisses, in the Côte d´Or. The Epoisses PDO Berthaut offers a frank and much more balanced taste than its smell suggests. In the cave, the cheeses are washed regularly with brine mixed with Marc de Bourgogne, as stipulated in the PDO specifications, for at least five weeks. The goal is to achieve a very melting texture over time. This is why the Berthaut cheese dairy offers its iconic cheese in a circular wooden box.

Pasteurized full cream cow’s milk, Rennet, Calcium Chloride, Lactic and ripening ferments, Salt (Sodium Chloride), Marc of Burgundy
