Ingredients:
- Ground beef: 100g
- Whole wheat spaghetti: 55g
- Extra virgin olive oil: 15g
- Garlic: 3g, minced
- Canned tomatoes: 200g, crushed
- Dried oregano: 0.5g
- Salt and pepper: To taste
- Fresh parsley: For garnish
- Parmesan cheese: 30g, grated
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the meatballs until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook the whole wheat spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
4. In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes.
5. Add the cooked meatballs to the marinara sauce and let them simmer together for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan, tossing it with the sauce and meatballs. Plate the spaghetti and meatballs mixture.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and the remaining grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
