Tomme de Savoie Cheese

Traditionally, these cheeses were made when there was not enough milk left to make Beaufort. They were more or less thin, depending on whether the farmers had more or less cream. Tomme de Savoie is easy to eat, with or without bread, at the end of a meal or to fill a snack in the middle of the day. The people of Savoy like to put a few pieces of tomme in their soup, and its fruity taste makes it appreciated by all.
